This guide helps students access digital course materials delivered through Willo in their LMS. It covers first-time access, campus email requirements, enrollment verification, trial and opt-out options, and how to get support if access issues continue.
โ Before You Start: Access Checklist
Before accessing your course materials, review the checklist below to help prevent common access issues:

๐ป Browser & Device
- Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Use a laptop or desktop for first-time access. Do not use a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet for first-time access.
- Disable pop-up blockers.
๐ง Campus Email
- Use the same school email address used for enrollment and LMS access.
๐ Access Materials Through Your LMS
- Access your materials through the publisher course materials link in your LMS course modules or content area.
- Do not go directly to the publisher website for first-time access.
- Do not use old bookmarked publisher links.
- Avoid LMS left-navigation publisher tools unless your instructor specifically directs you to use them.

- Click your publisher eBook or courseware link during the first two weeks of class, ideally during the first week.

๐ How to Access Your Course Materials
๐ก First time launching? Review the Before You Start: Access Checklist section below to avoid common access issues.
Follow the steps below:
- Open your LMS and navigate to your course.
- Navigate to the Modules or Content area of your course.
- Click the "Publisher course materials" link from the module or content area.
- Access unlocked: If you have not opted out of your campus course materials program, the link will take you directly to your course materials.
Select your LMS below for specific instructions:

- Click Modules.
- Look for a module labeled Course Materials, Course Resources, eBook, or Start Here, etc.
- Then, locate and click the Publisher Course Materials link.
*Links will vary by course but follow the same placement pattern.
โถ Blackboard Learn (Original) โ click to expand
- Click into the Course Content area and locate your course material link.
โถ Blackboard Ultra โ click to expand
- Go to Content โ Learning Modules, then click your course material link.
โถ Brightspace / D2L โ click to expand
- Navigate to Content โ Table of Contents and open the module where your materials live.

- Open your course and locate the section or topic block where your materials are listed, then click your course material link.

๐ What to Do If You See This Screen
Recommended: Select Verify Enrollment and use the same email address associated with your campus enrollment/LMS account if you have not opted out and do not plan to opt out.
Review Your Options
1. Verify Enrollment โ Confirm Your Access
Choose this option if you do not plan to opt out and need to confirm your enrollment.
- Enter your campus enrollment email address.
- Select Verify Enrollment Status.
2. Enroll โ Join or Rejoin the Access Program
Choose this option if you opted out and need to rejoin your Campus Access program before the deadline.
- Select View Options.
- Restores full access to your digital course materials.
- No separate access code purchase is required.
- Charges are applied through your student account.
3. Trial โ Temporary Access
Choose this option if you have opted out or plan to opt out of your Campus Access program.
- Provides temporary access until the census/opt-out deadline.
- If you remain opted out after the deadline, access will end and you will need to obtain your course materials separately.
โ ๏ธ Important: Opt-Out Reminder
Selecting Opt Out removes access through your Campus Access program.
- You will be responsible for obtaining your course materials separately.
- You will lose access to digital materials provided through the program.
- Until the deadline shown on your screen, you can change your selection and choose Continue Access to restore access.
- Reminder messages during the census period are informational only. You will only be charged once.

Seeing an "Invalid Information" Message?
An "Invalid Information" message may appear when our system shows you as opted out or when your course enrollment information cannot be matched.
Please submit a Follett Support ticket so we can review your access.

โถ โ Still no access? Use the Follett Access Course Support link
If you still cannot access your materials:
- Visit your LMS course.
- Open the Course Materials module.
- Click the Course Support or Follett Access โ Course Support link, or submit a request here, and attach the following information to your support request:
- School and campus
- Name
- Student email address (if you tried to log in with a different email, provide that as well)
- Course number and section
- Instructor name and email
- Error screenshots
- Browser + device used
- Whether you clicked the publisher eBook or courseware link from your LMS before or after census
- Diagnostic file: from your LMS course, click the Course Support (Follett Access Support) link, click Download Diagnostics, save the file, and attach it to your ticket
