Highlight text
To create a note on Kortext, first highlight the text you wish to make a note of by clicking and dragging your cursor over the page.
A drop-down menu will appear, where you will see the option to ‘Add note’.
Create your note
After clicking ‘Add note’, a window will pop up allowing you to customise your note by text, colour, and font.
Share your note
At the bottom left of the popup window, you will see three icons that allow you to share your note via OneNote, email, and groups.
Link your note
By clicking on the three vertical dots icon in the notes popup window, you can link your new note to videos, images, questions, and other web pages.
Refer back to your notes
When inside your book, click on the icon showing a page icon containing a + symbol, on the left-hand side of the screen.
From this window, you can see the colour and content of the note, as well as when the note was created.
Clicking on your note will take you back to that page in your book.
Don’t worry - your notes will automatically sync between devices so you can access the same notes on your phone, as you can from your browser.
Export your notes
To export your notes, you can click the envelope icon in the top right of the notes menu.
Alternatively, go back to your Kortext Library page and click on the three dots next to the book you have made notes on.
From the drop-down menu, click ‘Export notes’.
You will be prompted to enter an email address, fill out this field and click ‘Send notes’.
The email you receive will contain a list of the notes made in this book, including where to find them.
