Within My Materials you can access digital desk copies provided by Kortext or RedShelf if there are certain integrations between the school and Follett.
- Follett Access: Faculty teaching a course as part of a Follett Access program will be provided with a digital desk copy in the weeks leading up to term start, when a Kortext or RedShelf title is adopted.
- Follett Adopt (Discover Beta): - Faculty can open a digital desk copy within their assigned course(s) for any title available from Kortext or RedShelf within the Adopt experience.
Digital Bookshelf
Your digital bookshelf will function as a launchpad for accessing course materials provided by Kortext or RedShelf when:
- You've adopted the material in a course that is participating in a Follett Access program, or
- You've opened a digital desk copy using the Adopt feature (when applicable)
Kortext
Select the Kortext button to access digital desk copies via the Kortext Library. Any titles associated to a Follett Access program or previously opened within the Adopt feature will display with cover images and key details.
Within the Kortext eReader, you can:
- Organize your titles into custom collections.
- Use the search bar to find specific titles.
- Utilize advanced reading tools within the Kortext eReader, optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
RedShelf (BryteWave)
Select the RedShelf button to access digital desk copies via your BryteWave Shelf. Any titles associated to a Follett Access program or previously opened within the Adopt feature will display with cover images and key details.
Within the RedShelf eReader, you can:
- Toggle the default view to All Digital Materials to see digital course materials from prior terms
- Utilize tools and analytics
Adopt (Discover Beta)
Follett Adopt is a powerful online tool that transforms the course materials discovery and adoption process for faculty or concierge users.
If the Adopt experience is available within your Workspace, you can access digital desk copies for course materials provided by Kortext or RedShelf.
Simply click the Open Desk Copy button on eligible items.
This feature is available in both Discover Classic and Discover Beta.
