To create a flashcard, first open your chosen eTextbook and click the flashcard icon on the left-hand toolbar. 

From here you can click the ‘+ Flashcard’ button. 

Alternatively, you can create a flashcard from a specific piece of text by highlighting it with your cursor, selecting ‘Study tools’ from the popup, then ‘Flashcard’. 

You will notice a popup allowing you to create both a front side, and reverse side of your flashcard. 

From here you can fill the contents of your flashcard and add it to a flashcard deck. 

After you have saved your flashcard, the menu on the left-hand side of the screen will still be open showing the list of flashcard decks for this eTextbook. 

Click the deck you wish to test yourself on and click the small triangle button to play them.  

From here, you will be taken to a full screen where you can test your knowledge using your flashcards.
