Step 1

Login to your online Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) and navigate to your course.

Locate the Bedford Bookshelf link and click it.

Step 3

You will be presented with your unique Access Code. Copy the code by clicking the copy button to the right of the code, then click the green Access My Course Materials button.

Step 4

If you already have a Macmillan / Vitalsource account, you may log in here with your account credentials. If you do NOT have a Macmillan / Vitalsource account, click the Create an Account link and follow the prompts.

Step 5

After verifying your email, you'll be redirected to the Macmillan Learning eReader on VitalSource. To redeem your code, either click the REDEEM card on the Home shelf or select REDEEM from the top menu in the MY LIBRARY shelf. Paste the code you copied in step 3. You only need to do this once.

Step 6

Click on the Explore link on the left navigation panel to access The Bedford Bookshelf Collection. It may take a few minutes for the link to appear. (Note: You can manually update your "library" by refreshing the browser or logging in and out.)

Step 7

You can find your textbook by searching for The Bedford Book of Genres, or by searching for the eISBN 9781319463212. You have access to all items in the Bookshelf for the semester.
