Guide: How to Purchase Pearson Courseware After Opting Out of Your Access Program

If you have opted out of your Access Program and need to purchase Pearson courseware delivered through Willo, follow the steps below.

Quick Guide

1. Log in to your Learning Management System (LMS)
   Supported platforms include Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Sakai, or Schoology.
2. Locate the Pearson link
   The link may appear as:
   • MyLab and Mastering
   • Pearson Course Materials
3. Open Pearson
   If prompted, select Open Pearson, then choose Open MyLab & Mastering and approve any authorization requests.
4. Link your accounts
   Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Pearson account.
5. Select an access option
   You may use:
   • Access code
   • Credit card
   • PayPal or Apple Pay
   • Temporary access (if available)
     Some courses may display Access Now.
6. Go to My Courses
   After completing the purchase, select Go to My Courses to access your Pearson content.

Detailed Steps to Purchase Access

Course ID: You do not need a Course ID or invite link to register for MyLab and Mastering. If prompted for a Course ID, clear your browser cache and proceed with the steps below.

1. Log in to your LMS and enter your course.
2. Find the Pearson link
   Depending on your course setup:
   • Select MyLab and Mastering or Access Pearson in the course navigation.
   • Or select a Pearson link that leads to an assignment, course tool, or eText.
     If you cannot locate the link, check with your instructor.

• Click Purchase, then Purchase from Publisher.
• If you already purchased through the Follett Bookstore, follow these steps to apply your access code. You will not be prompted to pay again.

4. If you select MyLab and Mastering/Access Pearson:

• Click Open Pearson (if prompted).
• Then select Open MyLab & Mastering.

Choose your access option:

• Enter an access code (e.g., SMPLE-FRILL-TONLE-WEIRS-CHOIR-FLEES).
• Purchase access using a credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay.
