In this article, you will find the steps to connect your adopted Willo Reader materials to your Canvas course using the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 LTI Tool.
Part One: Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 Tool
Step 1.
Navigate to your course in Canvas and click on Modules.
Step 2.
Click the blue + Module button on the right-hand side.
Step 3.
Name the module Course Resources (or something similar). Then click the blue Add Module button on the bottom right.
Step 4.
In the newly created module, click +.
Step 5.
From the dropdown menu, select External Tool. Click the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 link.
Step 5a – Only If Needed: Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery Tool Manually
Use these steps only if the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 tool does not appear in the dropdown menu during Step 5.

- Click + in the module → choose External Tool. Scroll down to the botton of the Add items to Course Materials screen to the blank URL box below.
- Enter a Name (e.g., Follett Willo Digital Delivery or Course Resources).
- Paste the correct URL:

https://ca.willolabs.com/onelink
- USA:
- Check the box next to Load in a new tab.
- Click Add Item.

Step 5a – Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery tool manually.
➡️ Then click the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 link you just added and continue to Step 6.
Part Two — Pairing the Top Hat Courseware
Step 6.
Click the Continue in a new window button.
Step 7.
The Select Course to Pair screen will appear. If you teach more than one course, you may see multiple options. Choose the correct course and click Pair Course, then proceed to Step 8.
Missing Course Pairing?
Click here if your course did not appear in Step 7 and follow the instructions below:
- Click Missing Course or Pair My Course Manually.

Missing Course sidebar opens. Search for your course materials in one of two ways:
- Search Course or Material to Pair: Enter course code or instructor name, then click Search.

Add a Product Token: Enter a product token and click Verify.

- Click Confirm, select the term, click Continue, then click Initialize Pairing.
Part Three — Adding Product/Publisher Links to Your Course
Step 8.
The Course Management screen appears with Course Paired Successfully.
⚠️ Note: The Follett Access Support link is available to both students and faculty and routes students to the Follett Access Helpdesk.
Step 9.
Next, check the box next to Instructor Self Service. Then, Push links...Push directly to LMS.
Step 10.
Click on the Instructor Self Service Link you just added to your Canvas Module. This will return you to the screen to select the Follett Access Support and eText link to add to the same Canvas Module.
Click on the eBook link that you've added to your Canvas module to load the Ebook.
Your course material links are now paired with your Canvas course!
