In this article, you will find the steps to connect your adopted course materials to your Canvas course using the Follett-Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 LTI Tool.
Part One:
Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 Tool
Step 1.
Navigate to your course in Canvas and click on Modules.
Step 2.
Click the blue + Module button on the right-hand side.
Step 3.
Name the module Course Resources (or something similar). Then click the blue Add Module button on the bottom right.
Step 4.
In the newly created module, click +.
Step 5.
- From the dropdown menu, select External Tool.
- Click the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 link.
Step 5a – Only If Needed: Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery Tool Manually
Use these steps only if the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 tool does not appear in the dropdown menu during Step 5.

- Click + in the module → choose External Tool.
- Enter a Name (e.g., Follett Willo Digital Delivery or Course Resources).

- Check the box next to Load in a new tab.
- Click Add Item.

Step 5a – Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery tool manually.
➡️ Then click the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 link you just added and continue to Step 6.
Part Two: Pairing Publisher Courseware
Step 6.
Click the Continue in a new window button.
Step 7.
The Select Course to Pair screen will appear. If you teach more than one course, you may see multiple options. Choose the correct course and click Pair Course, then proceed to Step 8.
⚠️ Note: If you do not see a course listed, or if the course information is incorrect, click the Missing Course Pairing section below.
Missing Course Pairing?
Click here if your course did not appear in Step 5 and follow the instructions below:
- Click Missing Course or Pair My Course Manually.

Missing Course sidebar opens. Search for your course
materials in one of two ways:
- Search Course or Material to Pair: Enter course code or instructor name, then click Search.

Add a Product Token: Enter a product token
and click Verify.
Need a Product Token? Email facultysetup@follett.com.
- Click Confirm, select the term, click Continue, then click Initialize Pairing.
Part Three: Adding Publisher/Product Links
Step 8.
The Add Course Links screen will display Course Paired Successfully. Check the links you want, then click Push Links.
Note: The Course Support link is available to both students and faculty and directs students to the Follett Access Helpdesk for access issues.
Note: The Instructor Self-Service link is for instructor use only, should be hidden from students, and provides access to the Course Management page.
Step 9.
Select Push directly to LMS, click Submit and return to your Canvas Course.
Note: If links do not appear where expected, check item visibility/publishing or the destination folder.
Step 10.
The publisher/product links selected have now been added to the Content area of your Canvas course.
Click on the McGraw Hill Connect link added to initialize your course materials and complete the pairing process.
*This step is necessary to complete the pairing process.
Step 11.
Click Continue in a new window to proceed.
Step 12.
You will now be redirected to McGraw Hill Connect. If prompted, log in to your Instructor Account and select Pair with an Existing Connect Course.
Step 13.
Select the name of your course, then click Save.
And that’s it! Your course is now paired with Connect.
You can begin adding your Connect assignments and access the Connect section from the Go to Section Home Page link.
