Verify that the Canvas Module and the Pearson Course Materials link are published and visible to students.
Students must access Pearson materials only through the Pearson Course Materials link in the Module — not through Access Pearson in the left-hand navigation.
Tip: Hiding the Access Pearson menu item on the left-hand navigation helps prevent confusion and ensures students use the correct access path.

- Students can no longer open the Pearson course on the course end date (Eastern Time, US). Set a date after the last re-take opportunity for the final exam.
- Select whether to allow other instructors to copy your course using your course ID. You can change this setting later.
7️⃣ Confirm access and publish for students.
Verify that the Canvas Module and the Pearson Course Materials link are published and visible to students.
Students MUST access Pearson materials only through the Pearson Course Materials link in the Module — not through Access Pearson in the left-hand navigation.
Tip: Hiding the Access Pearson menu item helps prevent confusion and ensures students use the correct access path.
✔Instructor Pairing Checkpoint
- Launch by clicking the Pearson Course Materials link from the Module.
- Confirm the Module and Link are published and visible for students ✅.
- Direct Students to access materials from the link(s) in the Canvas Module, not via Access Pearson.
