In this article, you will find the steps to connect your Jones & Bartlett course materials to your Canvas course using the Follett Willo Digital Delivery LTI 1.3 Tool.
Part One — Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 Tool
Step 1
Navigate to your course in Canvas and click Modules.
Step 2
Click the blue + Module button on the right-hand side.
Step 3
Name the module Course Resources (or a similar title), then click the blue Add Module button.
Step 4
In the newly created module, click + to add an item.
Step 5
Select External Tool from the dropdown menu, then click the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 link.
Step 5a — Only If Needed: Add the Tool Manually
Use these steps only if the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 tool does not appear in the dropdown menu during Step 5.

- Click + in the module → choose External Tool.
- Enter a Name (e.g., Follett Willo Digital Delivery).
- Paste the correct URL:

- Check Load in a new tab and click Add Item.
Important: Hide this link from students. It is for instructor use only.
Step 5a — Adding the Follett Willo tool manually.
Part Two — Pairing the Courseware
Step 6
Click the Continue in a new window button.
Step 7
The Select Course to Pair screen will appear. If you teach more than one course, choose the correct one and click Pair Course.
⚠️ Note: If you don’t see your course or the pairing is incorrect, use the Missing Course Pairing section below.
Missing Course Pairing?
Click here if your course did not appear in Step 7 or the pairing is incorrect, follow the instructions below:
- Click Missing Course or Pair My Course Manually.

Missing Course sidebar opens. Search for your course materials in one of two ways:
- Search Course or Material to Pair: Enter course code or instructor name, then click Search.

Add a Product Token: Enter a product token and click Verify.
Need a Product Token? Email facultysetup@follett.com.
- Click Confirm, select the term, click Continue, then click Initialize Pairing.
Part Three — Adding Publisher Product Links to Your Course
Step 8
Select Continue to Publisher on the right to proceed to Jones & Bartlett Learning.
Note: You’ll return to this page later to add the Follett Access Support link(s).
Step 9
Log in using your Jones & Bartlett credentials. You will not be asked to do this again.
Step 10
Click on the resource title you would like to add to your Canvas course. This will expand a menu of links; then click Continue.
Step 11
Review the selected resource link then click Import Resources.
Step 12
Click Close window and navigate back to your Canvas course.
Step 13
The links have been imported to the applicable Course Resources module. Click one of the JBL links to initialize the course pairing.
This step is necessary to ensure student access.
Step 14
After adding the JBL links and initializing the course pairing, return to your Canvas module area to add the Follett Access Support link(s):
- Click + in the module.
- Select External Tool → choose Follett-Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 → check Course Support and (optional) Instructor Self-Service → click Add Links.
Note: The Course Support link is for both students and faculty. Faculty should encourage students to use this link to contact the helpdesk if access issues occur.
Note: The Instructor Self-Service link is optional and should remain hidden from students.
Step 15
You’ll receive a success message. Select Close Window and return to your Canvas module area.
✅ Your Jones & Bartlett Learning course materials are now paired with your Canvas course!
