In this article, you will find the steps to connect your adopted Course Resources to your Brightspace / D2L course using the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 LTI Tool.
Part One: Add the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 Tool
Step 1.
Navigate to your course in Brightspace/D2L, then click Content at the top left.
Step 2.
Click Add a Module and name it Course Resources (or a similar title). Then open that module.
Step 3.
Inside the module, click Existing Activities → Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3.
- If the tool isn’t listed, your LMS Admin may have renamed it Willo or Follett Willo.
- You can also find it under External Learning Tools.
Note: If the tool is not listed, see Add the Tool Manually below.
If you found the tool, skip to Step 4.
⚙️ Add the Tool Manually
Use this only if the tool does not appear under Existing Activities.

- Go to Existing Activities → External Learning Tools.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Create New LTI Link.
- Fill out the form:
- Title: Follett Willo Digital Delivery

- (Optional) Check Open as External Resource to launch in a new tab.
- Click Create and Insert.
- Back in your module, click the new Follett Willo Digital Delivery link to continue pairing.
Important: If this link is for instructors only, set it to Hidden from users after setup.
Part Two: Pair the Courseware
Step 4.
Click Continue in a New Window.
Step 5.
The Select Course to Pair screen will appear.
If you teach multiple courses, locate the correct one and click Pair Course.
Note: If your course is missing or shows incorrect details, see Missing Course Pairing below.
⚠️ Missing Course Pairing?
If your course didn’t appear on the pairing screen, follow these steps.

- Click Missing Course or Pair My Course Manually.

Missing Course sidebar opens. Search for your course materials in one of two ways:
- Search Course or Material to Pair: Enter course code or instructor name, then click Search.

Add a Product Token: Enter a product token and click Verify.
Need a Product Token? Email facultysetup@follett.com.
- Click Confirm → Select Term → Click Continue → Click Initialize Pairing.
✅ When you see Course Paired Successfully, return to the main flow to continue.
Part Three: Adding Publisher/Product Links
Step 6.
Select the Follett Access Support and Access Code Reveal links, then click Add Links.

Note:
- The Instructor Self-Service link is optional and returns you to this screen.
- The Follett Access Support link is for students and faculty and routes to the Follett Access Helpdesk for access issues.
Step 7.
Click Close Window and return to your Brightspace / D2L course.
Step 8.
The links you selected now appear in your Brightspace / D2L course. Ensure the Access Code Reveal and the Follett Access Support links are visible to students.
What Does A Student See?
Let students know where the Access Code Reveal link is located in your Brightspace / D2L course.
When students click the link, they may be prompted to select Continue to view their access code and acknowledge the program’s access terms.
Selecting Access My Course Materials directs students to the publisher’s platform, where they can register their code and access the assigned course materials.

If you need assistance or encounter issues during setup:
- Submit a support request to the Follett Implementation Team.
- Contact your Publisher Representative for courseware-specific pairing or content questions.
- Refer to your publisher’s instructor resources or training center for additional documentation and best practices.

Part Three: Adding Product/Publisher Link(s) to Your Course
Step 8
You’re now ready to add links to your course. Please select Course Support, Instructor Self Service and Access Code Reveal, then click Push Links.
Note: The Course Support link is available for students and faculty. Faculty should encourage students to use this link to open a ticket with our helpdesk if they have any issues accessing the course materials.
Step 9
You’ll receive a success message. Select Close Window and return to the LMS to verify the course support links you selected are now available in your course.
The selected links are added to the Course Resources module.

Step 10
After completing this, ensure your Access Code launch link and Course Support link are published and visible to students.
Students should be able to launch the link and redeem their code.
Your course material links are now paired with your Brightspace course!

What Does a Student See?
Notify students on where to locate the Access Code link within the Brightspace modules area. Once a student launches the link, the student may have to click on a continue button to proceed with revealing the code and accepting the terms and conditions of the bookstore's access program.
Launching the Access My Course Materials button will navigate the student to the publisher's portal site where they can register their code and gain access to the course materials.
