In this article, you will find the steps to connect your adopted Macmillan materials to your Moodle course using the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 LTI Tool.
Part One: Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 Tool
Step 1.
Navigate to your course in Moodle, then open the Content Section where you want the Publisher Course Materials link to appear.
Step 2.
Make sure Edit Mode is turned on in the upper-right corner of your course.
Step 3.
In your chosen Content Section, click the + icon and select Add an activity or resource.
Step 4.
From the Activities and Resources menu, select Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1.
- If the tool isn’t listed, it may be named Willo or Follett-Willo by your LMS Administrator.
- You can also look under External Learning Tools in the Activity Chooser.
Note: If you still can’t find the tool, see Adding the Follett Willo Tool Manually below.
⚙️ Adding the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.1 Tool Manually
Use this only if the tool does not appear in the activity chooser.

- Click Add an activity or resource → select External Learning Tools.
- Activity Name: Follett Willo Digital Delivery (or your publisher title).
- Preconfigured Tool:Automatic, based on Tool URL

- Click Save and return to course.
Click the new Follett Willo Digital Delivery link to continue pairing.
Important: If this link is for instructors only, adjust Visibility in Moodle accordingly.
Step 5.
Click Select Content to proceed.
Part Two: Pairing Publisher Courseware
Step 6.
Click the Continue in a new window button.
Step 7.
The Select Course to Pair screen will appear. If you teach more than one course, you may see multiple options.
Choose the correct course and click Pair Course, then proceed to Step 8.
Note: If your course does not appear or contains incorrect information, refer to the Missing Course Pairing section below.
⚠️ Missing Course Pairing?
If your course did not appear on the Select Course to Pair screen, expand below and follow these steps.

- Click the Missing Course link.

- Depending on the screen that appears, either click Missing Course or click Pair My Course Manually.
- In the sidebar, either:
- Search by course code, course name, or instructor and click Search, or
- Enter a Product Token and click Verify.
- Click Confirm, select the term, click Continue, then click Initialize Pairing.
✅ When you see Course Paired Successfully, return to the main flow and continue to the next step.
Part Three: Adding Product/Publisher Links to Your Course
Step 8.
Select the Macmillan Tools and Follett Access Support course links and click Push Links.
⚠️ Note:
- The Follett Access Support link is available to both students and faculty and directs to the Follett Access Helpdesk for access issues.
- The Instructor Self Service link is optional (as it returns you to the screen above).
Step 9.
Then, select Push directly to LMS and click Submit.
Step 10.
Click on the Macmillan Tools link added in your Moodle Module area.
Step 11.
- Select the Connect with Achieve link at the top of the page to pair your course to your Macmillan content.
Step 12.
You will then be prompted to login with your Macmillan credentials. This will only happen the first time you attempt to access the Achieve courseware.
Select the green Associate button to the right of an existing course to pair with a Macmillan title. If you need assistance creating or copying an Achieve course, reach out to your Macmillan representative or use the following video.
Step 13.
Return to the MacMillan Tools link in your Moodle course and click it again to navigate to the Macmillan Course Tools page. From the Macmillan Course Tools page, select the second option from the top - Macmillan Content.
Step 14.
Select the content that you wish to display in your course. Click the orange arrows next to each content item to expand the selection. Then click Next: Choose Location in the lower right corner.
Step 15.
Click the drop-down menu at the top center to select the module(s) where the content will be deployed. Then, click Deploy Selected Content in the lower right corner.
Return to the content area in your LMS course where you will find the newly imported Macmillan link(s).
Your course material links are now paired with your Moodle course!
