In this article, you will find the steps to connect your adopted Course Resources to your Brightspace / D2L course using the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 LTI Tool.
Part One: Add the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 Tool
Step 1.
Navigate to your course in Brightspace/D2L, then click Content at the top left.
Step 2.
Click Add a Module and name it Course Resources (or a similar title). Then open that module.
Step 3.
Inside the module, click Existing Activities → Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3.
- If the tool isn’t listed, your LMS Admin may have renamed it Willo or Follett Willo.
- You can also find it under External Learning Tools.
Note: If the tool is not listed, see Add the Tool Manually below.
If you found the tool, skip to Step 4.
⚙️ Add the Tool Manually
Use this only if the tool does not appear under Existing Activities.

- Go to Existing Activities → External Learning Tools.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Create New LTI Link.
- Fill out the form:
- Title: Follett Willo Digital Delivery

- (Optional) Check Open as External Resource to launch in a new tab.
- Click Create and Insert.
- Back in your module, click the new Follett Willo Digital Delivery link to continue pairing.
Important: If this link is for instructors only, set it to Hidden from users after setup.
Part Two: Pair the Courseware
Step 4.
Click Continue in a New Window.
Step 5.
On the Select Course to Pair screen, choose the correct course and click Pair Course.
Note: If your course is missing or shows incorrect details, see Missing Course Pairing below.
⚠️ Missing Course Pairing?
If your course didn’t appear on the pairing screen, follow these steps.

- Click Missing Course or Pair My Course Manually.

Missing Course sidebar opens. Search for your course materials in one of two ways:
- Search Course or Material to Pair: Enter course code or instructor name, then click Search.

Add a Product Token: Enter a product token and click Verify.
Need a Product Token? Email facultysetup@follett.com.
- Click Confirm → Select Term → Click Continue → Click Initialize Pairing.
✅ When you see Course Paired Successfully, return to the main flow to continue.
Part Three — Adding Product/Publisher Links to Your Course (Learn)
Step 6.
Select Continue to Publisher on the right to proceed to Jones & Bartlett Learning.
- Note: We’ll revisit this page later in the process to add the course support link(s).
Step 7.
Log in using your Jones & Bartlett credentials for the first time or create an account. You will not be asked to do this again.
Step 8.
Click on the resource title you would like to add to your course. This will expand a menu of links for that resource for you to choose from to import back to Brightspace/D2L. Then click Continue.
Step 9.
Next, click Close window.
Step 10.
The links have been imported to the applicable Course Resources module. Click on one of the JBL links added to initialize your course pairing.
- This step is necessary to ensure student access.
Step 11.
After adding the JBL publisher links, click the Follett Willo Digital Delivery 1.3 tool again from Existing Activities to add the Follett Course Support links.
On the screen below, click the Follett Access Support link(s) you want to include and click Add Links.
NOTE: The Course Support link is available to both students and faculty and routes students to the Follett Access Helpdesk.
NOTE: The Instructor Self Service link is an optional link for instructors and if added, should be hidden from students.
Step 12.
You’ll receive a success message. Click Close Window and return to your Brightspace/D2L module area to verify the course support links you selected are now available in your course.
Your JBL course material links are now paired with your Brightspace/D2L course!
