Follett Course Access and Total Access Add/Drop Process
Digital Drop – Courses Using Digital Content
If you drop a course before your campus-designated Access Census or Last Date to Process Drops deadline, a digital return will automatically be processed on your record/bill for Follett Course Access.
Access to your digital course materials will be revoked within 12–24 hours of the recorded drop, provided it occurs before the designated deadline.
No further action is required on your part.
If you drop a course after the designated deadline, your access to the program and associated products will remain active.
Digital Add – Courses Using Digital Content
If you add a course that participates in the Course Access or Total Access program and the product is digital, access will be processed within 24–48 hours of your enrollment.
In some cases, courseware access may be available immediately once you are added to the course in the Learning Management System (LMS).
No action is required by the student.
Physical Drop – Courses Using Physical Content
If you drop a course before your campus-designated Access Census or Last Date to Process Drops deadline:
- Contact your campus store to return any physical products you have picked up.
- If you have not picked up your physical course materials, notify the campus store that you have dropped the course and no longer need the materials.
If you do not return physical products within one week of the designated deadline, charges for the Course Access or Total Access program may still appear on your account.
You can return materials in person at the store or ship them (at your expense) with a note stating you are returning the product because you dropped the course.
Physical Add – Courses Using Physical Content
If you add a course before any orders are fulfilled, course materials will be processed and made available at least one week prior to the start of class.
If you add a course after that time, please allow 24–48 hours from the date of enrollment for the product to be available for pickup at the store.
You will receive an email from Follett when your materials are ready for pickup.
