These instructions are how to set up courses in Blackboard for Macmillan Learning products Achieve and FlipIt Physics
Please note that this basic LTI connection is distinguished from Macmillan Learning's deep integration for Achieve, iClicker Cloud, LaunchPad, and Sapling Learning. Please contact your Macmillan Learning customer support contact for more information on these integrations

> Enter your Blackboard course
> Add web link to the desired course section

> Blackboard - Turn on “Edit Mode”
> Choose where to insert your Macmillan Learning course link (e.g. Content)
> Select  “Build Content > Web Link”
> Name the “Web Link” for easy student recognition

> Blackboard Ultra - Click the “(+)” icon in this location, then click “(+) Create”
> Click “Teaching Tools with LTI Connection" in the right panel > Select “Visible to Students” in the drop-down menu
> Name the “Web Link” for easy student recognition

> Use the URL provided by your Macmillan Learning customer support contact
> To ensure the correct URL, note the proper format below, where XXXXXX is the unique ID for your course
> Achieve - https://gateway.mnv-tech.com/v1/launch/LTI11/Achieve/Launch?courseid=XXXXXX&tooltype=course
> FlipIt Physics - https://gateway.mnv-tech.com/v1/launch/LTI11/FlipIt/Launch?courseid=XXXXXX
> Check the checkbox for “This link is to a Tool Provider”
> Use the “Key” and “Secret”/”Security Token” provided by your Macmillan Learning customer support contact

> Blackboard - To send a grade directly from your Macmillan Learning course to your Blackboard course, set “Enable Evaluation” to “Yes” and include maximum number of points
> DO NOT enter any text into the “Description” field
> Choose “Yes” for the web link option “Open in a New Window”
> Click “Submit” 

> Blackboard Ultra - Check the boxes for “Open in a new window” and “Create a gradebook entry for this item”
> Set the “Due Date”
> Set the “Maximum points”
> DO NOT enter any text into the “Description” field
> Click “Save”
